In the 7th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, today i.e. on March 31, the match between Lucknow Supergiants and Chennai Super Kings is to be held at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. This is the second match of both the teams in IPL 2022. Both had lost in their first match. In such a situation, both eyes will be on winning this match and opening their account in the points table of IPL 2022. It will be interesting to see whether both the teams make changes in their respective playing XI in this match.
Deepak Chahar is not available for Chennai Super Kings in this match as well. However, the return of English all-rounder Moeen Ali is certain. He did not play in the first match of Chennai due to visa problems. He may be given a chance in place of Mitchell Santner. If Ravindra Jadeja wants to retain Santner in the playing XI, then Devon Conway, who batted poorly in the first match, will be blamed.

In the first against Gujarat Titans, Deepak Hooda and Aayush Badoni of Lucknow Supergiants both impressed. However, the top-order batsmen and bowlers will also have to show their mettle. In their second match, Lucknow Supergiants led by KL Rahul will not get the support of Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder in this match as well. There is still no clarity on the availability of Andrew Toy. Mohsin Khan will have to sit out if he is included in his playing XI.
